Aspen Belle recorded her second success of the season, as she ran out a comfortable winner of the Property Partners Earley Auctioneers Fillies Handicap.

The Pat Martin trained three-year-old won on her seasonal debut over five furlongs at Cork in April, filling up the runner-up berth on her two starts since.

Sent off a 5/1 chance this evening, the daughter of Roderic O'Connor made all under Leigh Roche.

She was pushed along to extend her advantage a furlong and a half from home, keeping on well under pressure inside the final furlong to score by five and a half lengths. Botanical Lady who was sent off the 3/1 favourite, finished second under Chris Hayes for Harry Rogers, while Dinky Inty (9/1)was another length and a quarter away in third for Tim Doyle and Declan McDonogh.

Pat Martin said afterwards: "She got a lovely soft lead, and settled better than she had been settling. They probably let her get away a bit.

"She's tough and honest, and tries very hard. She's won two now this year, and hopefully the handicapper will not be too hard on her."
