The Willie Austin trained Routes Delight followed up her maiden Bellewstown win five days ago with another in the Corkracecourse.ie Mares Handicap Hurdle at Cork today.

Ridden again to victory by David Splaine, the daughter of Dushyantor made most to win and eventually comfortably saw off the challenge of May Dullea for a six lengths win.

Afterwards Austin stated “we sorted out her problems with her wind and she has improved even more between her last two runs.

“The ground was possibly a little on the slow side today though and she'll be kept on the go for the summer. In time she'll have no problem jumping a fence.”
