Be My Storm justifies her price

Be My Storm justified favouritism when coming home in front of the Tote Jackpot Maiden for trainer Dermot Weld.

Pat Smullen produced the 8/11 favourite to challenge for the lead inside the final furlong.

The pair kept on well to lead close home and deny Echoes Of History by a length and a quarter.

Winning trainer Dermot Weld stated: “She did it nicely and she did what we expected her to do.”

“We’ll see if we can get a bit of Black Type with her now. She’s a very good looking filly and is good quality.”

“Singspiel fillies are very nice to have.”
