Beneficial Spirit wins at Wexford

The Philip Rothwell trained Beneficial Spirit landed a gamble when winning The Gorey Handicap Hurdle, under Mick Darcy, he was 20/1 this morning and returned at 6/1 at the track.

Rothwell said afterwards, "We're thrilled with that win, we'll stay handicapping with him for the moment. The lads had a few bob each way on him so everyone is happy."
