Fran Berry recorded a quick double this evening when winning The Cahernane House Hotel Handicap aboard the Pauline Gavin trained Lady Excel
Winning trainer Gavin said afterwards, "We just have a few flat fillies in to keep us going for the Summer, we bred this one ourselves so we decided to hang on to her and we'll probably try and find another handicap for her next."
Berry's earlier winner came aboard the James Leavy trained Time 'N' Talent when the pair landed The Irish Stallions Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden.
