The Dusty Sheehy-trained gelding made all and kept on well in the closing stages to score by a length-and-a-half from newcomer Pickapocketortwo
He was turning out again quickly having finished fourth at Cork on Sunday.
"I was disappointed in Cork where they didn't go fast enough. I thought I would chance it again today," said Sheehy.
"His future is jumping. You might see him again over Christmas although he has had two quick runs now."
