Trainer Jim Bolger and stable jockey Kevin Manning claimed an opening races double at Gowran today when Morning With Ivan made a winning handicap debut in the Follow Gowran Park On Facebook Handicap.
The winner proved a length too strong for Burnt Sienna and Bolger, who leads the Trainers' Championship at this early stage with nine turf Flat winners, said “she (Morning With Ivan) always looked like one that would improve and she stays well.
“We'll keep her at that trip until she gets beaten!”
