Co Limerick trainer Charles Byrnes made the journey up to Bellewstown worthwhile after his charge Deal Or No Deal came home in front of the A.I.B Balbriggan, Skerries & Rush Handicap Hurdle in the hands Davy Russell.
Winning trainer Byrnes said afterwards: “I’m delighted he won. He ran well at Mallow the last day, it didn’t look a great race today.”
“We will probably go for something similar with him. Another option would be to go novice chasing as he jumps very well.”
