Chasing Cars ended a frustrating season on a high note when making every post a winning one in the Motivatechallenge.com Novice Handicap Chase at Punchestown.

Robert Power gave the Supreme Leader gelding a terrific front-running ride and he had his rivals in trouble turning for home.

Jessica Harrington 's charge kept on strongly down the straight to run out a cosy 10-length winner from Lucky Wish

"He deserved it. when you look at his form with Cooldine two years ago. That day he made it so we decided to go back to old tactics," said Harrington.

"I'm just thrilled. He loves that ground and hopefully his old legs are alright. Today was the day for him and he jumped brilliantly.

"He was unlucky during the winter. I had him spot on for Christmas and he slipped up at the first. Then he lost his confidence here.

"He ran well in the SunAlliance considering and that taught him a lot. Finally he's got his act together."
