Coffee scalds bookies

The Willie Mullins trained Coffee Tea Or Me knocked bookmakers for six when landing a gamble in the Crowne Plaza Hotel Handicap at Dundalk tonight.

Ridden by Declan McDonogh, Coffee Tea Or Me tracked the leaders before improving to lead two furlongs out, eventually staying on strongly for a five and a half lengths win over Wikaala

The winner was backed from 8/1 in a place, although generally 6/1 in the morning, into 2/1 favouritism on track and a delighted Willie Mullins later reported "that's my third visit to Dundalk and I've had winners on each visit!"

He added "Coffee Tea Or Me is not mad about heavy ground and will probably have a break until the Spring now before going hurdling. He has schooled well and his hurdling debut will depend on the ground."
