Coldstonesober caused a Grand National style upset at Tramore today, winning the www.tramore-racecourse.com Maiden Hurdle, under Declan Bates, at odds of 50/1.

Afterwards winning trainer Jimmy Finn said “Coldstonesober wasn't fully fit today but I always knew he was a good horse and he had great form in bumpers last season.

“He was only beaten 24 lengths at Clonmel the last day and he didn't travel down the hill there.

I didn't think he'd handle the track and he doesn't handle very soft ground but I wish I backed him now!

“He jumps a fence too and he'll be entered in one of the Sales now.”
