Coleman suspended for four days

Jockey Kevin Coleman was suspended for four days at Cork today following a incident where his mount Ag Dul Suas was left at the start.

The Stewards received a report from Starter Lorcan Wyer that Coleman "had wilfully turned his mount around and took no part when a fair start had been effected."

Evidence was heard from the Starter and rider concerned.

Having viewed the video of the start and considered the evidence, Coleman was found to be in breach of Rule 40 and taking his previous record into account, the Stewards suspended Coleman for four racedays.
