Dundalk hosts another eight-race card this evening under the lights with Bar One Racing sponsoring two handicaps worth €22,000 and the action gets underway at 5pm.

Ado McGuinness holds a strong hand in the Bar One Racing ‘Bet 10 Euros Get 50 Euros Sign Up Offer’ Handicap with Migdam and Hodd’s Girl, while the likes of San Andreas Big Gossey, Freescape and I Am Superman make this a highly competitive mile event. Ceallach looks set to go off a short-priced favourite in the concluding Bar One Racing ‘Price Boosts Across All Channels’ Handicap for the Conyngham Lodge team of Tracey Collins and Michael Halford.

The Paul Rooney-owned gelding gained a third course and distance win last time and has the assistance of champion jockey Colin Keane, although the four-year-old needs to defy a career high mark of 97.

Looking ahead to the weekend, the going at Navan is now soft to heavy following 8mm of rain since declarations and the forecast is continuing unsettled with up to a further 10mm of rain prior to racing tomorrow.

The going remains soft ahead of Cork's Hilly Way Chase meeting on Sunday after 6mm of rain in the last 24 hours with the possibility of a further 8-10mm.
