Condon doubles up on Killeen

Stamina won the day for Killeenmore as he wore down Representing on the run-in to take the three-mile handicap hurdle at Gowran Park.

Davy Condon, notching a double after the earlier victory of Peak Raider was seen at his strongest as he forced his mount home to record a three-parts-of-a-length victory.

It was trainer Noel Meade's first winner for the Meath based Missed Flight Syndicate and the gelding is now set to tackle the larger obstacles.

"He'll go chasing straight away now. I just thought there was a hurdle to be won with him," said Meade.

"He stays well and jumped great apart from the final flight. Chasing is where his future lies."
