After winning the fourth with Attribution Bryan Cooper and Gigginstown House Stud quickly doubled-up in the fifth, the Casey Brothers Supporting Their Local Racecourse Beginners Chase, as Unic De Bersy made virtually all.

Making his racecourse debut over fences the Gordon Elliott trained seven-year-old led after the first and was never headed.

He was pushed along on the approach to the second last but he kept on well for pressure, going on to score by six lengths. Blue Bicycle who was sent off the 9/4 favourite, attempt to challenge in the straight but he ultimately had to settle for second under Adrian Heskin for Alan Fleming. Exhibit Five (22/1) completed the placings a further twenty-five lengths back in third under Luke Dempsey for Adrian Keatley.

Bryan Cooper said afterwards: "Jumping won it for him. I took the bull by the horns as there was nothing to make it and he was fit from the last day. He never missed a beat.

"Horses like him find it hard to win a maiden hurdle but when they win a beginners it changes them and he is on the up again.

"I'd say I was getting lengths at every fence, I felt confident the whole way.

"He was jumping hurdles too big, he was probably crying out for a fence. Gordon's horses are in top form now and hopefully it'll keep going."
