Crowe/Roche in form at Clonmel

Alan Crowe put in a good performance when getting Back Me Up (5/1) to win The Join Clonmel Racecourse Supporters Club Mares Handicap Hurdle for trainer Christy Roche and owner JP McManus.

Crowe raced the Bob Back gelding towards rear, took closer order approaching straight, 4th before last and under a strong by Crowe the pair stayed on well to get up in the closing stages and win by a neck.
