Cruidin got off the mark on her tenth career start as she took the Property Partners Early (Fillies) Handicap under Kevin Manning for Jim Bolger.

Second to Almadaa at Gowran last week the daughter of Intense Focus was sent off the well-backed 7/2 second favourite having opened at 9/2 on-course.

Settled towards rear she swished her tail in the early stages and improved into fifth as they entered the straight.

She travelled strongly on the outer from a furlong and a half out and she was ridden to lead at the furlong pole, keeping on well to score by two lengths while again swishing her tail close home. Perfect Fit was sent off the 11/4 favourite (from 10/3) and she kept on to take second under Wayne Lordan for David Wachman. She's A Pistol (10/1) didn't have the clearest of runs and she completed the placings a neck back in third under Robbie Burke for Patrick Prendergast.

Kevin Manning said afterwards: "She did that well and picked up well. I didn't need to hit her. It's beautiful, good ground."
