Daly & Lady Fowler strike at Kilbeggan again

Kilbeggan has been a happy hunting ground for trainer Lady Jennifer Fowler and owner Michael Daly with One Back For Luck winning at the corresponding meeting last year (that was Lady Fowler's first winner in Ireland since the death of her husband John). Tonight the pair combined successfully with the Mark Bolger partnered Annie May

There was plenty of incident here but in the end Annie may came through to comfortably account for Coolharbour Breeze by nine lengths.

Lady Fowler said: "This mare has lots of talent but she is a little moody. I made the stupid decision to put blinkers on her the last day and she hated them.

"I meant to put cheek-pieces on her today but I forgot! She loved the ground and she is a very good jumper. She likes fences better than hurdles."
