Dandy flashes home to land spoils

The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Race at Dundalk produced a blanket finish with Dandy Boy proving strongest in the closing stages.

Colm O'Donoghue produced his mount late to grab a half-length victory over Curl Cat

Winning trainer David Marnane was represented by his Bloodstock Agent brother Con and he said: "It's been a great week as I also sold Fleeting Moment, who won the July Cup, and She's Our Mark who won today at the Curragh."

"I bought this lad in Italy and sold him privately to Malih Lahej Al Basti. He has 28 horses in training in England but this is his first in Ireland.

"He is in charge of the new Meydan racecourse in Dubai and was listening live to the race today."
