The Dessie Hughes trained Deal Done rewarded odds-on punters at Navan today, readily winning the opening 2009 Navan Membership Maiden Hurdle, under Paddy Flood.
The winner made all and eventually quickened clear for a four and a half lengths win over Montan
Afterwards Hughes reported "Deal Done could make an alright novice hurdler now and we'll find a winners' race somewhere now."
