Michael Hourigan completed a quick cross codes double (won the previous race on the level with False Economy as Dingaling took the Jackie & Gene Handicap Hurdle under Mark Walsh.

The 6yo son of Milan won his bumper on his third start at Killarney last May under Laura Hourigan before he finished a close second to Donatis Comet in another bumper at Bellewstown.

After that he ran in three maiden hurdles finishing third on all three starts before finishing fifth in another maiden hurdle behind Texas Jack on his last start of 2011 at Fairyhouse in October.

On his first start in handicap company and his first start of 2012 he ran well to finish just over seven lengths behind Cyprusormilan in a competitive race at Killarney last month.

After that good effort he was sent off the 4/1 joint favourite this afternoon with Enter The Indian

Recent 33/1 Cork winner Iron Duke attempted to make all but faded tamely when headed from before the straight.

Dingaling hit the front on the run to the last and he kept on well on the run-in to score by a comfortable three and a quarter lengths.

Enter The Indian ran on well to take second under Nick O’Shea while Don Leone was a further five lengths back in third under Josh Halley at 12/1.

Winning trainer Michael Hourigan said afterwards: "He had a good run at Killarney last time out and he was in here off near bottom weight today.

"He will go for another handicap next and the better the ground the better he is. He should develop into a nice horse."
