The Aidan O'Brien trained Draco recorded his second win over hurdles as he ran out an easy thirteen length winner of the INH Stallion Owners EBF Novice Hurdle.

The five-year-old son of Hernando won his maiden at Bellewstown in August and he was fifth to Rich Coast in a Grade 3 at Tipperary on his last start.

Sent off the 4/7 favourite to account for his three rivals here he made all under Robbie Power and went clear from the third last, keeping on well on the run-in to score easily. The Herds Garden (15/8) finished a well-beaten second while Mysticaltou was a further two and a half lengths back in last.

Robbie Power said afterwards: "He has loads of experience and he jumped really, really well.

"He had been very free early on but he is starting to settle down. I just felt in Tipperary the last day that I didn't make enough use of him. He had been so keen we were just trying to settle him.

"He has grown up an awful lot and he will be a lovely horse in novice chases next year."
