Dream gets job done after swerve scare

Arcadian Dream survived an alarming swerve right in the final furlong to claim the apprentice handicap at Dundalk.

Shane Foley produced the gelding to lead at the furlong pole travelling well but he went right over to the rail when let down.

Fortunately Eddie Lynam's charge was clear of his rivals and stuck on well close home to hold the late lunge of Moutain Coral by a neck.

"That's grand to get that. He hung like a barn door and has never done that before. He can be a bit hot," said Lynam afterwards.
