Head Turner an easy winner at Clonmel last month, repeated the dose in equally impressive style at Wexford this afternoon. Thywillbedone tried to stretch the field when going clear after a couple of flights in the two-mile novice handicap hurdle.

She came back to the field three from home with Rooster Byron soon claiming the lead. He was headed over the penultimate flight by Head Turner, however.

Pat Fahy 's charge, sent off a 9/2 shot, skipped clear before the last, under Alan Crowe, to record a cosy six-and-a-half length success. Spring Forward the 7/4 favourite, finished well-held in fourth.

Crowe said: "She travelled well and jumped well. There is more improvement in her and she might deserve a shot at one of the festivals with a low weight. She will get further but she is not slow."
