The James Motherway trained Munsaab confirmed some of his earlier career promise when routing his opponents to win the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle at Wexford today.
Ridden by Rob Jones, the bumper winner stretched clear of the field in the straight for an easy 12 lengths win over Little Barney
Motherway was represented by his father David Motherway who later said “he was disappointing the last day but we’ll see what the handicapper does next before deciding plans. He was injured in the Champion Bumper at Punchestown last year but has plenty of ability.
