Gordon Elliott's push for the trainer's title continued apace at Kilbeggan tonight when Isabella Liberty gave him a double in the mares beginners chase on the card.

The 10/3 shot came with a rattling late run under Jack Kennedy to get up close home in the 2m3f contest.

She denied 20/1 shot At Rainbow's End by three-parts-of-a-length at the line.

“On her form last year she was entitled to win it,” said Elliott.

“I was a bit worried when I saw the watered ground that it might be a bit soft for her but in fairness she pulled it out and galloped the whole way to the line.

“It's great for the lads that own her (Twenty Syndicate). She was a cheap enough buy and they are having good fun with her.

“She might go for a two-and-a-half mile handicap chase at Punchestown. We might give her a rattle at that.”

When asked about adding more prize-money Elliott added:- “We're trying our best and we'll see what we can do.”
