Farinelli Impresses in Beginners

Farinelli twice a winner on the flat, showed the benefit of a couple of chase starts, with an impressive thirteen length success in the New Look High Chaparral Beginners Chase.

Jessica Harrington 's charge went up the inside of the front-running gamble, Let Yourself Go (10s into 9/2) into the straight and soon in front and clear he strode to victory over the favourite, Schindler's Gold

Charles Lee, managing director of winning owners, Byerley Thoroughbred Racing, said of the Robbie Power-ridden winner: "He jumped and travelled really well and Robbie gave him a great ride.

"We bought him from John Oxx in Goffs in 2007. Our syndicate was launched in 2006 and we're based in South Dublin. We have seven horses this year, two of them in the U.K.

"The horses are with Ger Lyons, John Oxx and Jessie and the two cross-channel are with Richard Hannon. This is our fourth winner in total."
