Jamies Choice just keeps doing it. The Philip Rothwell trained gelding has now notched up a sequence of five wins and a second from his last six runs having landed the featured Grade B Alchemy Handicap Chase at Cork.
'He is only small and as he had slight back trouble in the past we have kept upping him in class so he has light weights to carry,' said Rothwell.
'We will steer clear of Novices chases for that reason and look instead for some decent two mile handicaps. I felt he did not see out the 2m4f trip when beaten last time,' continued the trainer.
