Paul Flynn could be represented at the Punchestown Festival by Clever Currency if the weather dries up.

The seven-year-old gelding has won twice over hurdles and once over fences, and was last seen finishing runner-up in a handicap hurdle at Leopardstown in March under Ben Kennedy.

Flynn said: "I think Clever Currency will run well in the 2m 0-123 hurdle. If the ground dries out, he'll run a cracker.

"Ben Kennedy will keep the ride and he will take 7lb off."

The trainer also gave an update on his 136-rated chaser The Big Chap.

He said: "He went home because of the ground, so we will bring him back in for Killarney."

The Big Chap plundered two chases in the autumn and was runner-up in a valuable handicap chase at Leopardstown over Christmas.
