The ‘Buy A Racing Post Yearling Bonus Candidate’ Maiden was won by the Jimmy Coogan trained Forbidden City in the hands of Chris Hayes for owners Aidan Walsh and Annette Coogan.
Winning trainer Coogan said afterwards: “It’s about time, he’s been knocking on the door a few times and it was grand that he won.”
“He was just touched off here the last day he ran. He needs to have top of the ground so he'll either come back here or if the ground dries out we'll run him on the grass.”
