She mightn't have come up to expectations in a handicap chase at Downpatrick three weeks back but it all came together nicely for Corporate Box under Ger Fox, in the Waterford & Tramore Racecourse Family Fun Afternoon Maiden Hurdle.

Roger Sweeney 's seven-year-old, a point-to-point winner back in 2013, travelled well throughout this two mile five furlong event, never too far from the pace.

She led from three out, and the pursuing Coolbane West wasn't going as well when he came down at the second last.

Corporate Box eventually came home an easy victor, ten lengths to the good from favourite, Bothermenot That one never really looked likely to justify her position in the market, under Ruby Walsh.

"She won it grand and she ran well here the last day. It looked like she had Jonathan (Coolbane West) covered when he fell.

"Ger gave her a peach of a ride, he is a very good rider. We will see what the handicapper does with her now but he can't do much.

"Her owner, Karen Sheehan, is from Rathcormac in Cork." (DM & EM)
