On an afternoon when track specialists really came to the fore, the Jimmy Coogan trained French Company recorded his third win at Dundalk when readily landing the concluding Bar One Racing Bet #10 get #50 Sign Up Offer Handicap.

The five-year-old gelding had been in fair form on turf of late but like a couple of earlier winners on this card, he improved significantly for the return to this surface.

Travelling nicely just off the pace under Dylan Browne McMonagle, the son of French Navy was produced with a run up the stands rail early in the straight and quickly asserted to go away from his rivals.

McMonagle was completing a quick double having won the previous race on the Ross O'Sullivan trained Longbourn

Jimmy Coogan said: "He's a right little horse, he's after winning four. He has won three up here for us.

"He has won well and it was great.

"A good man on his back and that is his first ride for me, he is well able to horseback. Fair play to him.

"He will of course have a stint up here over the winter."
