Geraghty's Good Times continue

The opening Sean Graham Bookmakers Maiden Hurdle went to the Adrian Maguire trained Good Time Donie who readily justified 1/1 favouritism to win under Barry Geraghty.

The son of Supreme Leader moved to the front before the straight before eventually comfortably seeing off the challenge of Vics Canvas

Maguire was not present for the win but Geraghty did mention “Good Time Donie is a nice sort of horse and he jumped like a stag.”

Winning owner Michael Fenton, a farmer from Dungarvan, added “he was overdue that win as he had been knocking on the door a lot recently! I bred him myself and have a 5yo half brother, by Classic Cliche, to go point to pointing this year. We'll send the mare (Aglish Pride) to be covered by Stowaway this year.”

The win was Geraghty's 80th winner (including 38 in Britain) of the season.
