Harbour sees off rivals

The Patrick Hayes trained Harbour View proved a game winner of the stamina sapping Resource Garryowen Plate Handicap Chase at Limerick today.

Ridden by Philip Enright, the gelding battled well at the end of the three mile race, run in very testing conditions, eventually getting to the front at the second last fence, before staying on for a nine lengths win over Gripit N Tipit

Afterwards, Hayes, a brother of Flat jockey Chris Hayes, reported "it is great to see Harbout View back to his best and he really loves that ground. We'll come back here for a similar race here at Christmas."
