Hat-trick for Isabellareine

Isabellareine secured a hat-trick when running out a convincing winner of the mares hurdle at Kilbeggan.

Bryan Cooper produced his mount with a well-timed run to lead at the last and she had too much on the run-in for Red Key

The Mervyn Torrens-trained mare kept on strongly to post a two-length verdict.

The German-bred's two previous wins had come on the level and she could turn out again on the Flat on Sunday.

"She keeps going and going. She's in again at Dundalk on Sunday and if she comes out of this grand she'll go again," said Torrens.

"I'm a bit afraid of the ground turning on her as people are talking about a change in the weather.

"It's just a pity there isn't something with blacktype about for her."

A campaign over fences has not been ruled out for next season.

"We were thinking about it for next year as she does jump really well. We haven't ruled it out.

"If she jumps fences likes she jumps hurdles we'd have a right one for next year. The only thing is that she's a filly and we wouldn't want to get her hurt."
