Jockey Adrian Heskin completed a double at Tipperary today, when steering the David Kelly trained Good Luck Chuck to win the www.thetote.com Galway Plate Trial Handicap Chase.

Good Luck Chuck raced prominently, led from five out, before moving clear in the straight, eventually recording a 14 lengths win.

The race has had little bearing on the actual Galway Plate in recent years and that fact was not lost on Kelly who later stated “he obviously isn't in the Plate (won off a mark of 100 today) but may run next in the Galway Blazers Chase. Today was my Plate!

“I'm delighted for Good Luck Chuck's owner Sean Maguire, from Newry, and I'd also like to thank my vet Liam O'Malley, from Ballygarvey, who gives me great help and advice. I have six horses in training, five have run and each has won. The sixth has yet to run, but she should win too!”
