Hilary got due reward for her consistency when landing the second division of the mile handicap at Dundalk.

The Gerard Stack-trained daughter of Hawk Wing had finished no worse than fifth on her six previous starts at the track and made the breakthrough tonight after 24 career outings.

Dylan Robinson's mount (7/1) travelled well to take closer order two furlongs from home and came down the centre to lead just inside the final furlong.

She kept on well in the closing stages to score by a length-and-a-quarter from well backed 3/1 favourite Cheers Buddy (7/1 this morning).

It was a sixth winner for Robinson, who is 19-years-old and hails from Waterford.
