Honour continues Hughes' hot run

Dessie Hughes' horses are in excellent form at present and his Flag Of Honour made it four wins in two days for the Co Kildare trainer, in the Heineken W.T. O'Grady Memorial Hurdle at Thurles today.

Flag Of Honour (6/4 - 9/10f), moved through to lead before three out and stayed on well under pressure from the final flight to hold the challenge of No One Tells Me by a length and three parts.

The win was the 39th of the season for rider Paddy Flood and compensation for, half an hour earlier, parting company with odds-on Finger Onthe Pulse in the conditions' chase.

Hughes was not available for comment.
