Hughes records a three timer

Dessie Hughes was enjoying a day to remember when recording a treble this afternoon when his charge Mohtarres won The Drogheda Handicap Hurdle with Roger Loughran in the saddle making it a double on the day for him.

Loughran was always prominent and led from 3 out and stayed on well to win by a very comfortable 11 lengths.

Hughes earlier winners were Vallahalla Vision who won the opening race The Navan Maiden Hurdle and Montero who won The Albany Hurdle both horses were owned by Gerry Burke.
