The market spoke in favour of Rule The World (11/4 in the morning into 6/4f) in the Buy Your 2013 Annual Badge Maiden Hurdle at Punchestown today and point to point winner readily made a winning racecourse appearance for owners Gigginstown House Stud.

Ridden by Gigginstown's retained rider Davy Russell, the son of Sulamani went clear of the field from two out and stayed on strongly for an easy win over Angelas Money to become the third consecutive impressive winner on the card today.

Winning trainer Mouse Morris later said “that was grand! I don't know how good a race it was but he couldn't do any more and it was a nice introduction to the game for him.

“Today is his first day out (since his point to point) and it's all a bit new for him. He was fresh today, jumped well and I couldn't be happier with him.”
