After disappointing at Killarney last time out, Instant Impacked bounced back to winning ways as he took the Heinz Pollmeier Memorial Handicap Chase for his trainer Robert Tyner.

Ridden by Philip Enright, the 8yo son of Marignan hit the front before the second last and kicked on from there to record an easy six and a half-length success. Fair Dilemma finished second at 3/1 for Jimmy Mangan and Barry Geraghty while the 11/4 favourite Claragh Native had to settle for third a further two lengths back under Davy Russell for Arthur Moore.

The Maurice Kelleher (also owns Footy Facts) owned winner won a handicap chase at Ballinrobe in May but could only manage seventh last time out at Killarney well behind the winner Fourth Class.

However winning trainer Robert Tyner had an excuse for that effort as he said: "We always liked him. He missed a few at Killarney when he was favourite and he was found to be lame after that race.

"He made a mistake at Killarney at the last fence with a circuit to go and he must have hurt himself at that fence."
