Irish ladies win Limerick Challenge

The Irish lady riders defeated their English counterparts in the At The Races Britain V Ireland Ladies Challenge Handicap Hurdle at Limerick today, with Claire McMahon winning on the Charles Byrnes trained The Dew At Night

The Dew At Night led home Matchbook with Irish riders filling the first, third and fourth placings.

Following the win Byrnes reported "The Dew At Night had been disappointing but does have ability. Claire got the best out of him today and we'll aim for something similar again now."
