Jack Absolute bounced back to form to run out a cosy winner of the handicap chase at Gowran Park.

John Joe Walsh's charge had been pulled up on his last visit to the track but left that poor run well behind under a confident ride from Philip Enright.

The grey took over from front-runner The Sneezer entering the straight and was always in control over the last three fences.

Enright could afford a few peaks between his legs on the run-in as the 16/1 shot coasted to a 10-length success. Peak Raider sent off 5/1 joint favourite (from 6/1), came through to chase home the winner. The other market leader Hidden Diamond was pulled up.

"He refused to race here the last day as he didn't get away at the start," explained Walsh afterwards.

"He travelled like a fair horse today and won easily. I didn't expect it. We'll find something again for him in a few weeks."
