Jettymarc battles well for Shanahan

Jettymarc produced a tough front running performance to land the September Handicap at Clonmel.

Pat Shanahan 's mount repelled the challenge of Slievecorragh down the straight to score by a length-and-three quarters.

"I'm absolutely delighted with him," said trainer Tracey Collins.

"He might turn out again at the Curragh on Sunday for a 1m6f race or he could go to Listowel for a hurdle. Pat gave him a peach of a ride - top class."
