Juliette Fair got off the mark in fine style when claiming the opening fillies maiden at Leopardstown for Dermot Weld.
Pat Smullen tracked the leaders on the Moyglare filly before hitting the front over a furlong from home.
She ran on strongly in the closing stages to score by four-and-a-half lengths from the well-backed Gilded Reflection who stayed on for second.
The winner was sent off 2/1 second choice having traded as short as 5/4 this morning. All the money came for the runner-up, who went to post 7/4 favourite having been 5/1 this morning.
Juliette Fair had chased home Rockaway Valley in a hot Curragh maiden on her debut in June.
Kris Weld, representing his father, said:- "She has progressed well but would prefer an ease in the ground as most Dark Angel's do.
"Pat is confident that she has plenty of speed, and we'll probably stick to six furlongs. She could go for something like the Round Tower Stakes (at the Curragh), although that comes up quick enough in just over two weeks' time."
Smullen added:- "On her run the last day she was entitled to win, and she did what I hoped she would.
"The ground is quite lively, and I wouldn't like to see her on it again. In my opinion it's more firm than good, and she would like a bit of an ease."
Jowana (33/1) and Seventh Heaven (9/2) were both withdrawn on vets advice at the start with Rule 4 deduction of 15c in euro to all winning bets.
