Kate Appleby Shoes produced another impressive front-running performance to run out a wide-margin winner of the concluding mares bumper at Limerick this afternoon.

The daughter of Flemensfirth was the sole runner on the card for Willie Mullins and continued a great week for the champion trainer, following on from a record breaking Cheltenham.

Katie Walsh did the steering on the 8/11 favourite and she had her rivals in trouble turning for home in the two-miler.

Kate Appleby Shoes galloped on strongly in the closing stages to post a 28-length victory. She had scored by 34-lengths at Gowran Park last month.

"She's not just winning her races, she's winning them impressively," said Walsh.

"She's a fine big scopey mare and might make a lovely staying hurdler in time."
