Kate lets her legs do the Talkin

Trainer Pat Flynn recorded his 14th winner of the season when his Talkin Kate ran out the narrow winner of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden at Limerick today.

Ridden by stable jockey Danny Grant, the daughter of Talkin Man was under pressure in the straight and only hit top gear inside the final furlong, eventually staying on well to head Pussyfooting on the line.

Flynn later reported "I wasn't expecting that but Talkin Kate is as tough as nails. She pulled a muscle a few weeks ago but has come back very well from that."
