Rashaan added to his ever growing fan club when destroying the opposition under Mikey Fogarty in the Grade 3 Bar One Racing Juvenile Hurdle at Fairyhouse.

The Manduro gelding had to concede weight away all round on the back of his Roscommon and Listowel victories but he accomplished the feat in style.

Colin Kidd 's charge headed odds-on favourite Missy Tata from before the last and powered away for a thirteen length victory.

Kidd said: "He was very good. He gave the filly 11lbs and ran away from her. After Listowel today was always the plan, and everything has gone smoothly. Leopardstown at Christmas is the obvious next step, and we'll take it one race at a time from there.

"Mikey said he was cantering the whole way, and he didn't want to get caught in a pocket. He's improving the whole time. The ground is no problem to him.

"At this stage he looks the top Irish juvenile hurdler. He cost only €8,500, and is a very cheap horse now. Victor Treacy (part-owner) has been very good to me, and he's been waiting a long time for a good horse. There have been a number of enquiries but no concrete offer, and in fairness to Victor he doesn't want to sell."

"He seems to love jumping and when they're like that it's easier to ride them with confidence," reflected Fogarty.

"The jump at the second last got me there and I just wanted company then. If fairness he was travelling too well so I just let him kick on.

"We might know a bit more about how good he is if he goes to Leopardstown (at Christmas).

"All he's done is improve. He's a grand little horse."

Rashaan now figures in the Triumph Hurdle market at 16s with Paddy Power, 14s with Boylesports and 12s with Ladbrokes.
