Know held the late charge of Somebodytoldme to land the opening fillies maiden at Navan this afternoon.

Billy Lee produced the well-backed 10/3 co-favourite to lead inside the final furlong but she was strongly pressed in the closing stages as Somebodytoldme flashed home on the outer.

The David Wachman-trained filly, who had been 6/1 this morning, held on at the finish to record a head victory.

"She had plenty of form in the book. She had been running mostly over the minimum trip. It was only half a furlong more but it feels like six. She travelled a little bit better. I probably got to the front a bit soon," said Lee afterwards.

"The ground is on the slow side."

Gift Wrap another co-favourite, finished third after making the running, while the other market leader was newcomer After Dawn a stable-mate of the winner, who finished last.
