After winning the first aboard Kuramathi Billy Lee quickly doubled-up in the second, the Pride Of Tipperary Festival 2015 Handicap, scoring aboard Tylery Wonder for Willie McCreery.

The five-year-old son of Choisir made his seasonal reappearance at the Curragh on Sunday when finishing down the field in the Rockingham.

Turned out again quickly he was sent off a 9/2 chance in the colours of the Tylery Road Syndicate.

Having disputed throughout he was ridden a furlong and a half from home and kept on best inside the final furlong to score by a length and a quarter. Oor Jock (3/1) finished second under Declan McDonogh for Adrian McGuinness while the 15/8 favourite (from 5/2) Red All Star was a further three parts of a length back in third under Chris Hayes for Pat Martin.

McCreery said afterwards: "I can't make him out but he has plenty ability.

"He sulked the last day but is better suited by small fields and keeping on his own a bit and Bill (Lee) kept him over a bit.

"I'm delighted for his owner Michael Kavanagh (as part of the Tylery Road Syndicate), who also bred him."
